How To Overcome Emotional Burnout As A Mompreneur
What is your breaking point? In life, there are always going to be struggles, especially when it comes to this whole “mompreneur” thing. Owning your own business and following your dreams sometimes means you will face some adversity.
After being knocked down a few times, it can be so hard to keep going. Some days, you will want to quit. The emotional burnout will feel so powerful. So, what is going to keep you from giving up altogether? Today I want to talk about how to overcome emotional burnout and how to overcome struggles in your business by figuring out your “why”.
The Key To Overcoming Emotional Burnout
If you are starting to wonder if all of this effort is worth it, keep going! Don’t give up on your dreams because of the world. The most successful people have failed more than anyone else. Success is all about mindset, determination, and remembering your “why” when things get hard.
Okay, okay. So what exactly does that mean? What is so important about knowing your “why”? What exactly is a “why” in the first place?
Simply put, a “why” is the reason that you push yourself to keep going. It’s a driving force of motivation and a reason to not give up even when things get hard. If you don’t feel emotional when you think about it, it isn’t your “why”. If you aren’t sure what is driving you forward, now is the time to step back and take a minute for some reflection.

Imagine Your Dream Life
Take a minute to imagine what success could mean for your life. Think about what will happen when you become successful. Imagine it all. The dream house. The dream car. The dream colleges for your kids, or the charities and communities that you could impact.
Imagine what you could improve in your lifestyle. Do you want financial freedom? Do you want a flexible schedule? Do you want to retire your husband? Do you want to stay home with your kids? Do you want to be able to make a real difference in the lives of the people that you care about most?
Now ask yourself, are these improvements worth fighting for? Are they worth staying up late, or waking up early for?
If you said yes, then you have found your “why”. Knowing what is worth fighting for will give you an amazing advantage. Remembering what you are working towards, something more than money will help you to fight through the trenches and climb out on top.

Focusing On The “WHY”
By determining what makes all of the effort worth it, you will be able to draw strength and motivation even through emotional burnout and struggle. True dedication will come when you figure out WHY you are doing the work in the first place, and that is what makes it so powerful. Once you know what you want the end result to be, you can figure out the middle.
It’s time to make the big dreams take first place on your priorities list and start changing your life! If you are starting a new side hustle and doubting yourself, I want you to take a few minutes to dig deep and find your own “why”. Draw on that power, take a day to recuperate, then get to work!
